so as i try to figure this blogging thing, the computer genius that i am deleted my very first post (february 2/12 9:56 pm). cue applause. so let's re-introduce ourselves!

hi, i'm shayne. welcome to my corner of the interweb. i'm not sure how this blogging thing works {see situation above}. i've been reading a couple of blogs for over a year now but starting my own is a huge milestone for me because i'm usually a private person. 

i always resisted most of the social media platforms. it took me forever to get on facebook, and i only joined because i was missing out on my friends' events--damn those facebook invites! but it's not so bad. so i figured blogging might not hurt.

anyhow, welcome!

- i'm in the healthcare field.

- live in the true north, strong and free: Canada

- i want a dog in the near future. probably a husky mix and call him/her Benzo (short for benzodiazapine -anti-anxiety medications. i'm in healthcare after all ;)

- i've got an unhealthy obsession with leather side bags.

oh and i like music that you can dance to. like this.

impostor wednesday

sunday. that's what today feels like. above is probably a better explanation. i had high hopes today {insert extensive to-do list} and set my alarm for 6:30 am. 

i'm pretty sure my alarm clock scoffed at me.

since finishing school (for now) and writing my board exams last week, i've been catching up with my favourite blogs and watching "the big bang theory." productive. i know.

so in the name of productivity (or lack thereof), i decided to do post numero dos. 

since today is a "sunday," let me share with you my past weekend. the boy and i decided to go camping to celebrate my writing the boards. we were supposed to leave friday but everything just. went. wrong.

so saturday it was. 

 friday was spent at a friend's place.
